p.1 #1 · Help! Mamiya RZ67 shutter speed stuck...

I have a Mamiya RZ67, looks like it's brand new. One problem. No matter where you set the shutter speed, it flies through the frame. Seems like it is going off at 1/400th. Even if I set it at 1 sec or even B, same thing. I've tried it with some old film, tried a different battery, removed the prism finder...still the same. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Also, what other forum might have some knowledge on Mamiya? Medium Format gear is getting pretty hard to find info on these days...

You should try the alternative gear forum. The general gear forum is more about photographic accessories such as tripods or camera bags.

RZ 67 has two adjusts, one is mecanical, the camera will fire even without the battery only with one shutter speed, i cant remember what was the one and the other set is the eletronic shutter, this one fire all shutter speeds.

When you turn the camera on, adjust the button at the middle, this will be the eletronic shutter on.
