Since a few images are links to other servers, they may be down and unavailable from time to time. This is out of our control because I can only keep an eye on images uploaded to the FM Gallery host or via Image Upload service.

Although all of the entries showed good potential and the choice was very hard to make, I took several factors into consideration, including image quality, subject matter, relevance to the assignment, and creativity just to name a few.

First, second and third winners will be posted at the forum portal.

As the rules currently stand Caroline (and they are changing shortly), the finalists from all the submissions are chosen by Fred. That is not to say if yours is not chosen one week, it is not a good image. It is merely Fred's subjective opinion.

I'll admit that some weeks I'm left wondering why someone's (in my opinion) great image was not chosen for the finals but the final decision is up to Fred and that is fine.

Don't be dismayed if your image is not chosen. If you challenged yourself and you are happy with the results then ultimately that is all that really matters. The object of the assignment has succeeded.....you have grown as a photographer.

Well, I'm relived.....

Congratulations for Gosty. While I did want to win, I can openly admit the most beautiful picture has won.

Congratulations to myself

for scoring my highest score to date.

Congratulations to Giber, which took a beautiful shot. I wanted to take such picture myself but my would-be model has turned me down....

Fred, as I don't use PS or PS Elements I can not use any of the plugins or actions. Is it possible for you to forward my prize to Giber? TIA.
