Tough choice. The lack of detail in the clouds suggests and vintage suggest b/w. However the colors in the flowers and the car are good.

I like the framing. The building behind and the sky without detail detract.

I think in the color version the colors seem subdued. They could use levels work (bring triangles into historgram). The pictures could also use some work to bring out details in the shadowed areas (shadows/highlights) selectively. I think more saturation in the color version.

With more saturation I choose 1.

Thanks Scott.
I am always worried about saturating or sharpening too much, and end up not doing enough. Framing was tough on this one because I was trying to keep out all of the "modern" element. I'm going to try a re-shoot this weekend and also try it in the evening to see if I can get any better angles. I have a couple more from this series I'm going to post once I get them through PP.

Thanks Again.

could you re-post in B/W and sharpen it about 20 percent more and add about 1 or 2 clicks to contrast..

BW fits the content better. Sepia would probably work well here, too.

I thought about sepia while I was on my way to work. I'll post one tomorrow morning.
Thanks.

Usually I would prefer the b & w especially in a this type of a capture, but don't dismiss the colour as the yellow and green really look great together. I might try desaturating a bit, just to an a bit of a age or hand painted effect.

Nice capture

I would agree with sassy that more of an aged photo look might work. If i remember i'll look at it again from home.
