They both look very dull.
Try to capture the same scene at sunset or sunrise and from another perspective.
Ad some interesting foreground especially the first one.
1 has horizon in right spot 1/3 down. A circular polarizer and a ND grad might improve. The biggest challenge is that the sky has no details and the colors seem muted. When you have this kind of light frame with less sky.
The 2nd is a lesser version of first for me. It seems more muted in color. Was this multiple exposure hdr. I think this shot needs a circular polarizer.
As mentioined, a foreground interest like a tree would help first 2.
As mentioned on last - you have the wrong time of day but to improve try more saturation. If you are shooting at this time of the day just shoot in the shade is my suggestions and avoid the contrast.
