Their eggs finally hatched and now the fun begins! It was really dark in the woods this morning, so sorry about the over done flash.

I think I found out how to sex these guys. The males have blue "red eye" and female has pink "red eye". Wouldn't that be convenient?

Congratulations on finding a nest.

The only nests I've found are Cormorant nests - - and they're so huge I'd have to be blind to miss them...

Thanks for the comments! We (three of us) actually found 3 thrush nests this year but all but this one failed before they had young.
