Lovin it................Karl
I did call Terry and send him an email to jump on this soon!
OK... you asked for it... Hey thanks for letting Terry know, I haven't seen him around in a few
I think the problem you guys are having is that they were NOT taken with a MAGIC NIKON It automatically removes everything from the background and crops to the best composition All I have to do is point it in the right direction................................
The first two aren't too bad, but I'm voting for the third one.... I love the color and the BOKEH is OH SO SWEET....

Well I hate to be the buzz killer but I do think the flowers are the most interesting shots from your trip!
These are certainly the most action packed from that outing!
I see Chad's as the most adventerous of the two, actually looking and reaching for love in all the wrong places. Purple, pulsing but part of an old dried up stem.
Anthony's, well I think he hits the nail on the head. That flower suffers from extension envy, it looks like it wants a nice long tele but poor Ant is still wishing for that.

Terry, thanks for jumping in buddy, " It automatically removes everything from the background and crops to the best composition" I looked on the Nikon web site, (my Mark III was sitting behind me watching while I was cruising the Nikon web site) but I could not find this feature that you described... I wonder if it was a firmware update
I think the above crops that Socrate did came out pretty darn good consider what he had to work with thanks for the effort guys and gals. I still think Maggie has the best crops for these.
Tim, you are correct.. Moves were shown "Purple, pulsing but part of an old dried up stem"
Nello, Thanks for the Vote buddy, I always knew you liked me better then A
