Hey buddy. I haven't been able to play either. Just really busy. I do stop by from time to time to check. Looks like a few others haven't played in a while also. I like this shot and the concept. The only thing for me is that it is to dark overall. I think I understand where you were going with this and the effect you wanted, however, it gets lost because of the overall tone and takes away from a great shot.
I like this shot a lot, Jason. I'm not sur it needs to be lightened up. What makes it peculiar, though, (for me) is the dumb expression on the puppet's face. I like the dramtic lighting but then there is that silly face. It's hard to express exactly what I mean but I think the lighting would have worked better with a subject that is a little less frivolous looking. You've seen those puppets with sad clown faces, for instance. One of those would have been perfect for this lighting. Regardless, I think it is is a very creative entry. :thum:

All the best,

Much obliged Endre, always helpful to get detailed insight from someone else. The puppet originally had a smiling mouth and it's tongue sticking out, which I changed. I thought about changing his mouth to a frown, however I wanted to leave a bit more up to the viewer by not giving it a definite expression, but leaving the puppet's opinion during contemplation of the strings and handles above to the viewer to imagine.
I'll see what I can do about making it look less silly though, looking at it again I think the eyes could indeed use some work.
