you just always have the best dragonfly images Socrate.....birds aren't too shabby either.
I have a special fondness of kingbirds, as I watch them often in a bayou from a distance.

Those kingbirds are really something I like how they flip the dragons up before they eat it
I bet they're really fun to watch! My fav. are #1,3,6 and #8! great stuff Socrate!
I like how you controled the whites on the egret...those are always easy to blow
Thank you, Nello. They are really fun to watch, as they don't mind you being close to them.

Wonderful series Socrate, very well done. All of these have a certain feel to them and I can't put my finger on it. I would suppose it is your personal style showing through. I like 5 with one in the throat and one in the air and 7, it is splendid.
Tim
Thank you, Tim. I appreciate your kind words.

Holy flying dragonfly, Socrate. #s 3 and 5 are incredible! I don't know how you were able to capture the action in such detail. The entire series is great, but the those two are fantastic.
Thanks, Maggie. These birds are real cuties and a lot of fun to watch.
Your comments are always appreciated.

Socrate, these are awesome. My favorites are 3 and 5, both spectacular. What kind of bird is #10, is that an immature little blue heron?
Chris
Thanks for your kind words, Chris. I'm not completely sure about the ID of the last bird. At first I thought it was a Juvenile Snowy Egret, but you may also be right and that could also be a Juvenile LBH.

Wow, very awesome (and my daughter agrees). The first shot is so full of character, and the two dragonfly shots (3, 5) are amazing. Nice.
The last bird sure looks like a Little Blue Heron in the first stage of its life. The Snowy Egret would have black legs and blacker beak, plus the area around the eye is different.
