Thx Terry Some of my friends and relatives asked for a print of the #1. they can't believe that there are actually wild pheasants in Milan
This was taken in a park at the outskirts of the city. Terry D wrote:
Nello that first shot is exquisite in every way ... I don't care what lens you took it with. Great camera work bud.

Nice to see a great shot from that lense. With the negative press it gets at the long end, I ended up getting a 400 5.6.

Nello, buy her the Gucci bag and get the 500mm seems like a great compromise to me. Great job with the 100-400mm I tried Anthony's 1-4 last week, seems like a nice lens.
Thx Dan! it really is a nice lens Dan Bellyk wrote:

Nello,
Congrats on your new lens. These are a lovely set of photos. I was thinking of going for a 500mm but with the comments above I shall retry my 300mm 2.8 with a 1.4x.

Thx Claude! the pheasant took off really fast out of the tall grass. Managed 2 keepers out of 5 w the XT. not bad Claude wrote:

Hi Nello - great shots. Looks like you'll going to like the pull-zoom-lens
Hi Martin... 300mm f2.8 + 1.4 Tc it's a great combo. Fast f4, longer and w IS too! If you can afford buying a 500 and keep the 300 too, it would be ideal Martin Good wrote:
