My mom is a doctor. From the 70s on, I remember most every pen and note pad in the house had a drug or drug company name on it. The influence of pharmaceutical marketing is something I was quite aware of growing up. You've touched on it quite well with this photo.

Thanks. It's amazing what the drug companies will use for marketing. I have a Prevacid, plush, stuffed stomach at work. I think that's about the weirdest thing I've seen yet.

Hmmm...this must be what those well-dressed reps carry in their fat briefcases when I see them entering the doctor's offices. I like your interpretation of the process. I'd like to see a photo of that "Prevacid, plush, stuffed stomach"--talk about creative advertising!
