Hi Carrol,

Wonderful idea for the WA and this shot is spectacular. She definitely has lovely eyes and you have captured them very very well. I wonder if the crop wouldn't be a bit better if you didn't cut off her chin and the eyebrow on the left. I think I would like to see them, but this is a small point. The eyes make the shot. Good luck this week.

Hi Carrol,

I like the new shot a lot. The old one was very good, but this is exceptional. I don't normally like selective coloring, but here it works perfectly. Good luck this week.

I, also, do not normally care for selective color in photos, but thought it enhanced the theme in this shot. Glad you think it works!

I haven't commented this week or last and sorry for that. I couldn't help but notice this. I saw your original and I have to be honest with you Carrol, I said to myself, "you have been doing well with these shots, but time for something else" Maybe it was because I didn't think (although she is precious) it stood out to much. But with this one, it takes the same ideas of shooting children, fun shots etc etc, to a different level. Focusing on the eyes, bringing more of a composition, striking and very powerful. I love this one ten fold over the other and I could still pick it out of the thumbnail of exactly who's it belonged to. Very nice correction. I am sure you will see this be rewarded in respect to the others.

I was bored with the previous photo, too.
I had been out of town for several days and took the first shot on Tues. afternoon as a spur-of-the-moment, get-an-entry-in deal. - and it showed.
