Interesting take on the assignment. I like how you have made the transition from B & W to color so subtle creating a sense of two world on opposite sides of the street. I like it a lot. Good luck this week.
This shot reminds me of an old Calvin and Hobbes cartoon where Dad explains that the world was black and white back in the old days, that's why photographs didn't have any color.
Odd how the left half of the street looks very retro, huh?
