Really nice shot, Greg!  A perfect take on the WA. I think the crop is fine. The only thing that bothers me is the little bit of light hitting within the dark side of the lip. It makes the lip look peculiar and breaks up the "half" line between dark and light. Sometimes capturing reality exactly isn't the best way to go. You could try darkening that little spot out with the burn tool or even cloning it out altogether and it wouldn't be missed.
I'm out of town this week playing a couple of concerts in Colorado so I won't be posting.
