We were pulling the weeds in the yard and in the garden today and at times my son didn't have the best attitude. I got this shot during one of those times. One of my father's favorite sayings that I am afraid I heard too often was, "A half-hearted effort leads to a half-a**ed job." That thought certainly went through my head, but I was able to avoid saying it. Comments and critiques are most welcome.

You've certainly capture "half-hearted" here, Steve! I suspect that someday your son will be less than thrilled to be reminded of his "Teenageness"
All the best,

Hi Endre,
I always appreciate your comments and I appreciate that you took the time to comment.
Hello Steve,
Great shot, your son looks bored to death. Your description had me laughing, I too have a teenage son, I think they all have this same trait. This is a great take on the WA, nice work.

That's a great interpretation of this week's theme, Steve! As to the facial expression, been there, done that, and not looking back Once he grows up some more, he'll sure appreciate every moment you two have spent together.

Hi Nick,
It is good to know that other parents have the same experience. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Hi Engi,
Thanks for the kind and encouraging words. I do hope he appreciates the time we spend together. I know I do.
