I thought I'd give this lens a shot, but the f/4.5-5.6 aperture was just too limiting for me. I've had this lens for about a month. No date code present, so I'm not sure what year that would put the mfg of this lens. The guy I got it from is the 2nd owner and doesn't remember being told the age of the lens when he purchased it.
Overall, the lens is in pretty good shape overall, but does have some paint chips and wear visible. There is dust present inside the lens, but I've stopped it down and it's not visible in any of the photos I've taken at apertures up to f/8. No tripod collar.
