pretty cool stuff Greg......I think you have one of them rare House Sparrows in #1.
Almost extinct in the field, cuz they all reside at McDonalds
love the frog.....good job!!
Thanks Dave
I guess thats why it confused me he wasn't eating a Mcnugget
Nice series Greg, like the colors and presentation. Gosh those turkey vultures are interestingly ugly Nice captures of them. Very nice on the second swallow and of course the water bird is a great one
Cool stuff Greg! i like how you PP'em a lot! any particular workflow you're using that you might wanna share
As ugly as it is i'll choose the "Ugly bird flying" shot as favourite just saw the "Not a bird" shot

Thanks Karl, We were driving home when we found the vultures, there were about 6 of them in the tree and they were all just as ugly!

I don't think I have any special work flow but one thing I have been doing lately is making sure the WB is right. The colors pop so much better if you get it.
I just went back and redid a couple of Green Heron shots I did last year and what a difference it makes.
I use Light Room to do my Raw Conversion and CS2 for WB, fine tunning, and final sharpening

Some wonderful shots Greg. Favorites are the 2nd RWBB, the frog and the last vulture, nice captures.

Thanks Doug Im glad you like them. I had to do some heavy noise reduction on the RWBB Shot. I was shooting indoor basketball the night before and had left the ISO at 1000. I guess the high shutter speed I was getting shoul have told me somthing was up!

They're all great Greg. I'd pick the ugly bird in a tree.
