1932 Buick series 90 Captured in a car restoration lot in Southern Oregon. The car is waiting for someone to say "GO" and restore it. For now, the car and it's friends make great photo ops.
Another '35 Buick on the same lot was in a fire. To me the doors are still "Hot."
The 35 Chevy 2 Door Sedan may be too far gone, but I believe Old Cars Never Die.
Many old cars are restored into street rods because they have a higher resale value than a restored, vintage car. http://en.martinsauto.com/cgi-bin/md/M10582/s6.pl? for an example. Meanwhile, I keep searching for better pix.
I like these pictures, 1 and 3 the most. I have a 67 Camaro I am turning into a hot rod, so I know how it is to put a "has been", "abused" car back together. Here I am $35,000 into it and still not completed. #3 really shows the years of neglect this poor car has endured.
The picture of the doors is from a /32 Buick that was in all original condition 18 months ago including the mohair. It was disintegrating, but all original. Then a fire to the storage area ruined it. You can see the blistered metal on the handles. The salvager picked it up for a few thousand dollars. All I can say is it made a good picture. Sadly.
