Well, here goes
I'm selling my beloved Canon 1d mark iii. Camera was bought on 3/8/07 from Kirks Camera in Victoria, so still has 3 months of Genunie Aus warranty remaining. In addition, the sub mirror fix was performed on 20/12/07 and i have heard that this resets the 12 month warranty but i have not confirmed that.
Camera is completely mint apart from a very small mark near the hotshoe (about 3mm long, and to be honest you really have to be looking for it.) All original accessories are included (battery, charger, software etc etc) Original box and tax invoice for $6350 (Ouch!) will be provided, along with sub mirror repair paper work.
Camera serial is 516xxx, and total actuations is less than 7000. I think the shutter's rated at 300,000 odd so there's a bit of life left in it yet
The camera is just awesome. 10fps, liveview, 3" screen, cf and sd slots, ISO 6400, you name it its got it. To me its the best all round camera i've ever used.
The camera has only been used at a couple of weddings and as a backup to my 5d for work (architectural). I'm only selling because i still need my 5d for the 24mm TS-E and i can't afford to keep this amount of money tied up over winter.

Dave I swore an oath to my wife I would never buy a 1D III, but I also never thought I'd see such a price in Australia. I don't think I've tapped my 1D II abilities so I'm going to wait for the next gen 1 series, but this is so hard to pass up.
