I am enjoying the camera. The build quality is excellent, I like the small bag I found for it (Rezo 50), and I found I don't need the Franiec add-on grip after all. The IS also works pretty well.
Downsides: TERRIBLE bokeh, very quickly exhausted battery, and the RAW files seem significantly tougher to work with than DSLR RAW files. Still, I'm enjoying this little camera very much.
EDIT: Also, I find the optical viewfinder absolutely useless, as it can actually lead to focus errors due to parallax.

I had the same thought as to the RAW files until I used the provided software zoom browser to convert the RAWs to TiFF what a huge difference it makes. ACR just does not do as good of a job.
