What with all the hi-tech building materials and techniques used nowadays, it's refreshing to see good old mortise and tenon timber frame residential construction - even if all the cuts were designed and carried out by computer...

Taken while working Saturday, May 3, helping the carpenters erect the big 3D puzzle.

Very cool. That's going to make a nice residence. I assume that there will be a lot of exposed beams in the interior.
