This is a pretty funny image. You nailed the shape of a fly's head perferctly. Good luck this week.

Com, you have too much fun with that camera lens. Love the title. Neat shot!

First, I took three images of the glasses (left lens, bridge, right lens) and the boats. I merged the three glasses shots together by hand to make the glasses frame, and rotated/cropped to make them perfectly straight and aligned as a sort of panoramic image. I then put the clear boat photo in each of the lenses, and stretched the panoramic shot to a perfect square.

I then rotated the image 180 degrees and applied the Polor Coordinance filter to the image, and then touched it up by hand.

Soup,

This is rediculously cool. You are going to have to show me how you did this. As always, creative and well executed.

Very interesting effect and a great way to set up a panoramic type shot. I like this a lot. Good luck this week.

How did you manage to convince the fly to stand still for this shot? Great idea and execution.

Great shot,
Chad

Thanks all. This is the first time I've done an image like this, and I'm definately gonna apply this concept to other things in the future.

I like the polar coordinate distortion.. well done! The glasses themselves lend to a fly eye shape.
