my hands kill me after a long day shooting. My right elbow is always still and locks up.
Lower back, sucks. Hurts after lugging gear around all day.
And I am a bigger guy. I use to play football and benched 450, squat 600 and these 10lb setups are freaking killing me. I guess I'm not so tuff afterall. AHAHAH
I reccommend you see a massage therapist or more specifically, a Rolfer. I have had a frozen shoulder (due to volleyball injury) for 8 months, and a few sessions of rolfing spared me surgery and a year of rehab. Rolfers in particular deal with tendons and connective tissues. A bit new-agey for my taste, but I can't argue with results.
BTW my fingers get really tired holding camera - 24-70 - grip - flash all day as well.
Consider finding a med clinic that has Orthopedists and Physical Therapists. My brother-in-law works as a PT in one. They do tons of trades people - tile guys who ruin their knees, painters that screw up their shoulders... The docs do the initial diagnosis and surgical repair if needed and then turn the folks over to the PT side of the house. The docs and PTs love their jobs because they get competant people working again and the trades people love it because they can finally get back to doing the work they like without pain. If anyone lives around Bethlehem PA, I can get you the hook-up!
For one person businesses, any down time is so critical.........I could never afford to put myself out of commission.........for surgery ......only in the most extreme case........the hazards of being self employed.......

Chaloux, I know what you mean about sounding sissy. I haven't mentioned the pain I'm in much, but people I am around keep asking why I am awkwardly using my left hand to do day to day stuff. I HATE having to tell them.
Tell them you threw your right arm out in a bar fight.
