p.1 #1 · DIY: Photobooth

Have any of you made one for a wedding or special event?

I've been enlisted to design and build one for a friends wedding. I've come up with the basic design, but I've been a bit stumped on lighting. Should I use an off camera flash or use continuous lighting?

If you guys have any plans for them then please let me know, or if you have any suggestions.

Here is a link to one from a commercial company.

I think it would be easier, cheaper and better to rent one.

I've assisted a team that does photo booths for events and their setup is simple
http://www.politeinpublic.com/
Their booth is made out of wood with graphics that comes apart from transport. I sway 4 pieces; left, right, back and floor. As for lighting they used flashes, a small one on the floor poniting up with grids and one coming from the top of the booth with a beauty dish. There might be a third but I'm not too sure.

2nd that one. No one can say they want to do a photobooth after seeing that. That is quite something. A whole new artform.
