Here's a cooperative green winged teal that did a little modeling for me. I had to do a fair bit of slithering through the weeds and what not to get a bit of clear shooting. This guy seemed a bit curious at first.
C&C and enjoy!
Tim, I was appreciating the fine detail in the breast feathers when I ventured to the second shot then to appreciate the fine detail in the eye and head colors but anticipation drove me to the next to appreciate the whole bird and your quality capture and representation of it. Great job keeping it simple and beautiful.

Ah my friend, I hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the words dude. Yes, been working on my PP. I'm with you on 1&2, thought 3 was a little soft, missed the eye as I was sinking in the mud and my feet getting wet! Thanks for the honesty.

Damn Karl that is one hell of a comment, thanks buddy!
Thanks man.
Jeez I just read that and it read the wrong way. I meant I have a ton of respect for your work so the comment meant a lot, thanks.

Beautiful, Tim! I've never seen one of these so have to live vicariously through these great shots.

Steve, thanks for the kind words. They are wonderfully beautiful birds. These are the first good shots I have gotten of them. I hope you get to see them someday.
You are getting better and better with that combo, Tim. This is one fine series with beautiful images, clean sharp andall properly exposed . Probably the best post since you got your new toy. # 2 is my favorite, but it wasn't an easy decision.
