Looks like cold weather Herb.

You certainly got excellent detail for such high ISO. The sparrow is my favorite of them.

That is suet. It is fat or grease rendered from cooking meat and it's mixed with birdseed and oats. It's usually a sticky solid, but gets soft and liquid like in warmer weather. I keep packages in the freezer for those hot summer days.

For ISO 3200 these party pretty darn good, Herb! No noise to speak of; did you run them through any NR reduction software? One of the main reasons I picked Canon over Nikon is the super-clean high-ISO images which I really need for those far-away, cropped birdies.
