by using this model from maxpedition i can modify the interior design by adding a set of Domke dual slot dividers. in addition i can add external pockets in various configs as i need or want via the universal molle clip system on the sides or by their variation which i prefer called the malice clip. this system is the one i feel should be embraced by all makers of bags with add on pouches instead of their propriatary not so great velcro type setups which add unnecessary bulk
i have 2 roll up pouches attached. one for a water bottle the other larger one as a lens change area or rain jacket pouch. during the Photo+ show is the junk bin for catalogs
being that it uses the molle system it can use various pouches from various makers leaving the final outcome to you the owner
picked it up for $110 shipped from eBags on a sale. addon on pouches vary in price.

Have never seen that one either! Dang, wonder how many bags are out there that don't get much air time. Thanks for sharing this one.
I am really interested in the boda! I just saw a video of the features and I thought it would fit my needs. I don't know about the price, tho - I may have to go with the TT for the money.....

Thanks, Jim! Great info and pics as usual We can count on you around here for our bag help.
At this time, all I can help with is Think Tank gear. I've sold off all my other branded bags. Except for a Crumpler 6 million bag that my daughter made me buy for her.
With regards to the CU, you can always add additional TT components to it as needed. Typically, I add a Lens Changer and a Chimp Cage, and I have a setup that I love.
Shane ... the Boda bags look nice. But from the dimensions, it seems like a TT Speed series bag turned vertically. I didn't care for the TT Speed series bags because they jutted out considerably making them a bit awkward to wear as a belt pack once they were loaded with gear.
I have been a little concerned about going the route of adding components to a system. I feel like, for me, it would be a little bulky around the waist and uncomfortable. I may be wrong because I have never tried that type of system. I also like that with a bag, I can just slip it off my shoulder and get rid of it for a bit but with the belt systems (add ons) it looks a little harder to get in and out of (there is that bulk thing again)....
I may need to just try the system to see how it really fits/works.
Rachel...I don't have a slender girlish figure like I'm sure you do. So, adding a bit more bulk blends in with the rest of me. But, I can certainly appreciate your concern. For me function outweighs my form.
I wish I had a slender figure but I am getting back to it - that was a New Years resolution I just keep picturing myself walking around with my arms lifted up and out from my side. I also have a short waist so that doesn't give the componenets much room for up/down movement when walking
Well, in a few days I will be able to give you my opinion of the boda bag. I was already impressed with the layout but then I read that you can remove the dividers and it will hold a large lens. Looks like it will hold my 300 2.8IS! I was able to cover two bag types with this one - A glass taxi type bag and a shoulder bag for a couple of lenses..... At leas I hope
