Incredible sequence of photos. I really like the action shots but I love the clarity and detail in image 2. Excellent focus on all shots. I didn't look at the exif but assume these were with your D3. I have witnessed a couple of kills but both were in high grass which almost hid the Cheetah making the kill and as you know it happens really fast. You were fortunate that you had a good clear view. Ndutu is my favorite of all the places I have been in Tanzania and I will be returning there in June.
Thanks for sharing your experience and images.

Harsha, these are super. You did a great job capturing the sequence. #5 is my favorite of these shots, it really conveys the speed of the cheetah's chase. I can't wait to get back to Africa!

Great series. No. 2 is a stunning portrait. Thanks for posting. I was in Ndutu in Feb 2007 and also saw a female with two cubs about the same age as the ones you shot. One of the cubs is my avatar.
kirry007 -- I highly recommend Gustafson Photo Safari for photo safaris in East Africa. High end, but well worth it. http://www.gustafsonphotosafari.net/
Thanks Adam. yes I have visited the Gustafson,s web site. He very accomplished photographer.

Spectacular action shots, all well taken. Harsha. I like the subject isolation in the first shot, and the detail in the second, but I really enjoyed the whole series.
