its amazing how technology tries to just "blend in". If you dont look closely it usually goes unnoticed. i wonder what the next 10 will leave us looking for.

Hi Karen,

Very interesting shot. Is the whole tree metal or are they just hanging the metal from the tree? Either way a distinctly odd image that captures how technology can distort nature. Very nice shot. Good luck this month.

The whole tree is metal. I could not believe it when I saw it. I have also heard that in some area they have pine trees like this.

Not so bizarre with people wanting cell phone coverage everywhere, but not wanting to have towers all over. I can say that only because we're in a remote location without cell coverage and don't mind it! (lol, but I do have a satellite internet connection)

Great capture. Another idea would be to show the whole "tree" with a person or two in the frame talking or texting on a cell phone.
