Actually, he's the older brother of Ansley - in my earlier post. ISO 320 IIRC you noted in another earlier post, DOF is too shallow - unintentional oversight on my part - both grandkids in the same shoot - same camera/lens/settings.
Yeah, I tried some high pass sharpening and it turned out a little too sharp - need to go back and reduce the opacity some. This is also an exercise in re-visiting and learning Capture NX which is strictly a RAW converter and I'm liking more and more. For my eyes, it seems to do a noticeably better job managing colors in NEF images than PS or LR.
The UI needs improvement, and it does not use layers in the sense of PS and has no cloning/healing/etc. functionality. Maybe in the next release?
Bob - I would leave it in. It tells a story, he's obviously sad, and being comforted by someone who is holding him close. The ouey tells us what he's sad about!
Assuming you took the image partly because of it I would leave it in. Of course - if it was a scheduled session and he did it just before - I would get rid of it.
