First outing this year with the 100-400mm. Although some people dont like this lens, it always amazes me, it is so sharp. Just bought a 300mm f2.8 is

so can't wait to compare the two. Here are a few from last weekend. Hope you enjoy.

Very nice work on the small birds. They have a lovely feel to them. What kind of bird is the first two?

Dave, the light was not good and the little fellas did not want to come closer, so a fair bit of PP required (but worth it).

Thanks Will, the 100-400 can be an amazing piece of kit, it just takes a while to tame the beast.
