p.1 #1 · birds from last weekend

First outing this year with the 100-400mm. Although some people dont like this lens, it always amazes me, it is so sharp. Just bought a 300mm f2.8 is so can't wait to compare the two. Here are a few from last weekend. Hope you enjoy.

Many thanks
Ken

Very nice work on the small birds. They have a lovely feel to them. What kind of bird is the first two?

The first is a Chaffinch. Thanks for the kind comment Tim.

#1 is really nice Ken. You had some tough shooting in all that backlight and branches

Dave, the light was not good and the little fellas did not want to come closer, so a fair bit of PP required (but worth it).

Thanks Will, the 100-400 can be an amazing piece of kit, it just takes a while to tame the beast.

Thanks for the comment RT, I could watch these little guys all day.
