p.1 #1 · Extream zooming 10:1 to 10

Hi all! I got to spend some time trying something I always thought about doing but never did: going from 10:1 to 10mm on a single subject. Here's the subject:

10:1

Leave a guess as to what it is and view the results here: http://evantrump.com/zoom.html

Oh, that above shot is a stack of seven images at 10:1.

Hope you like, if not, thanks for taking a peak!

Thanks Keke, I think I can do better on a couple of transitions, gives a good reason for another attempt

Thanks Paul, a lot of folks say rice!

Thanks for leaving your thoughts!

Neat sequence - I'll claim I knew it was a lilly flower pollen anther before looking at the zoom - bet you did have to move the camera a tiny bit

Sorry Adrian, you're probably using Safari ... I wrote the little "image flipper" really quickly and forgot about ALL the browsers should work now in firefox, ie and safari ... might even work in netscape, but I didn't test for that.

Thanks John!

Brian I would believe you in your claim Yes, a very tiny bit, if you note in the 10mm frame, there's a book to the right bottom ... they work very good as shims as well as thin magazines on the Y axis.

About the only thing I would do differently next time is to start wide and go narrow ... that and allow more time before the sun stops shining through my window

Thanks for taking a look and leaving your thoughts
