Thanks, 600mm, 300 f2,8 with 2x extender.

Nice series, Herb. #1 and especially #2 very fine, the rest seem a little soft.
When making my 300 a 600 (via stacked 1.4's) with the 1DmkII I'll use a native ISO
usually 800 and stop down to f8 to recover some lost contrast. Of course YMMV.

Herb, Very nice - you can tell your getting great shots when folks - Randall - makes the observation that the gullet is full. I didn't notice until I read Randall's comment - I think he is correct - or that guy was getting ready for a giant burp! Steve W
