after spending about 3 hours driving today to Bolsa Chica & back home I'm sad to report - - no Reddish Egret visible today. I'm sad. How do I make a crying face? Anyhow, my first visit to Bolsa Chica & I was freezing my buns off most of the day. Mental note, always carry a wind breaker in the backpack..... & stop removing clothes out of the car....
Anyhow, if you happen to see it again....... Would you please PM me? I would like to try again if the RE is seen again. Everyone was looking for it & asking about it.

There is some confusion on the location of these. These were all shot in SW Fl, at the Little Estero Lagoon, ft Myers. I think there was a thought these were in SoCal but alas they were not. Now if you were to fly over here, you wouldn't need the windbreaker and you'd definitely be able to get lots of shots of the RE. Not sure where the misunderstanding came from, but sorry.

Sorry, I must have gotten confused.... There has been a few RE at Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach, my photography buddy saw it there Wednesday & has photos to prove it. The news was out & people from everywhere were there looking for it. Don't know why I got confused..... Maybe I'm on too many boards.
We talked to several photographers who've seen it & have shot it & we checked locations where it was/is known to hang out.
