p.1 #1 · Head Shots In Flight

Head Shots In Flight

I have been going thru some folders and picked these out of a bunch that the Birds were to close for a full body shot for my 500mm + 1.4 converter.

I have no idea why I like this look but I kept it.

Not the best of photos but an interesting experiment.

I like 2. The expression does look a bit odd out of the context of flight. The others, hmm let's see, saturated?

Hi Tim, I don't care for the photos but I thought it would be fun to try and salvage something out of the bits and pieces.

Beautiful detail. You might say,"up close and personal"
I don't think they are over sturated. Up here the sky is that blue and the Sandhill, looks like it was early in the day, when they go to the fields to feed.
Darn, that lens is sharp.

Hi Tom, I was playing with some of the photos in my to delete folder. These were at the end of some bursts and they had gotten to close to get the whole bird.
