My first photo posting on the forum. Birds were shot in Skellig Michael, a remote rocky island south-west of Ireland. Magnificent view and loads of birds (eg. Razorbills and Gannets in addition to the Puffins).
Thank you all for the comments. These were my first puffin shots (I've always adored these funny looking creatures. I was hoping to get a shot of a puffin taking off but my Fuji S3 and Nikkor 80-200 combo just couldn't keep up with them...
One more. Posing infront of it's nest concealed under a small cliff.
Welcome to the forum! Wonderful shots of what has to be 1 of the cutest birds ever. Puffins and pinguins are so adorable The thing that cracks me about the puffins is that their eyes have kinda' of an upper-split (instead of being round). That makes them have that "huh? what's goin' on?" look The top of it's beak reminds me of salmon-sashimi LoooL
