Nice take Frank, this view reminds me of a small airport where I first jumped from a perfectly good airplane...I didn't heed the sock on that first jump and was dragged 100 yards..I digress...well done
An interesting choice for this WA and I love how you have set off the bright red sock against the blue sky. I might prefer a crop just from the top 2/3 that leaves out the airport, which I don't think adds much, but I like your framing as well. Good luck this week.
Wow, Brr! is right. I don't know how you got this shot! The red against blue is striking and I really like how the top part of the pole is bending. A stark and cold scene.

Thanks, Jamie, for your perceptiveness and kind comment. I though, with the bent pole, that the photo may look a bit angled off horizontal, but you saw that the pole was actually bent.--Frank
