Thanks my friend! In that particular shot he was having a hard time getting his landing gear down, so I have a whole burst of him fluttering about in the air.

Great shots. I'm losing my mind trying to get a sharp shot of a Kingfisher. I only have the 400 5.6, so it's pretty tough to get close enough.

Thanks for your response. Wow --- the only time I got within a few yards of a kingfisher, was one foggy morning and I don't think he could "see" me. Congrats on getting so close and such great shots.
