Great series! It looks like you handled the conditions and light very well. 6,8,9,11 & 15 are my favorites. I like the additional work you did on 14 - nice detail. Steve W

Karl a great critique. I most always try to focus on the eyes wether it be human or animal. You certainly have given me something to think about the next time I go out. Thanks for the suggestions.

Ted - I think you found a great spot for swans. Love the pictures so much that I hope I can take a quick trip out in the next few weeks so if you have some tips for the location please let me know.

Come back in March we had some where around 200.000 Snow Geese last year and some where around 10,00 tundra swans!!!

Nice work .. I.ve heard tell round the middle of March for middle river for upwards of 10,000 snow geese.

Ted - Please give us a full report when you back from this weekend and if you see a hotel close by the reserve could you note it for me? I am sorry I will miss you this weekend, but based upon your photos I can't wait to go the weekend of the 22nd.

Nice job, Ted. From your comments, it's obvious you've discovered the challenges of shooting white birds and know how to correct it next time. Pretty swans, except the last one - must be a mutant.
