I saw one yesterday - - just beautiful. But no reach for it as it was so far away... Beautiful bird so congratulations on getting shots of them. All three are beautiful so I can't pick a # 1.

Nice ... very nice... with smooth n creamy backgrounds !!
I"m amazed what some of you guys are doing with the 400. I try the 400 or the
100 - 400 and it's always just a litttttttttle to short > So I put em back in the bag and grab the 500. Wish I could get close enough to use the 400 cause boy is it lighter than the 500 !!

I would love to have the 500 (my dream lense) fortunately these birds are approachable and are preoccupied with finding their delicious bugs.

Tim They sure are pretty birds and this is a great time to get out and shoot them. I think that they may get an even deeper blue as the breading season gets underway. Does anyone know if this is true?
