p.1 #1 · Selling Framed Prints

I have an opportunity to sell 20 to 30 large framed prints to be hung in corporate offices and conference rooms for a local lawyers firm in CT, so I need to get this right!! This will be several thousands of dollars of framed prints
Do I have to charge them sales tax? I don't have a tax number...I have sold a few prints here and there but nothing like this, photography is mostly a hobby for me. How can I do this and stay legal? Oh ya, it is a corporate lawyer firm I'm selling to.. did I say that already?

Your sales tax situation is completely dependent on local (county) laws. Get a local tax advisor. In California, prints, CDs, memory cards, etc. are taxable when sold to the customer. Your locale may vary.

I would say it also depends on where you operate out of(or live). If you are in CT, then probably yes, but if you are outside of CT, more than likely no. But of course, check with a real professional tax professional.
