hate this...............
i was down in the high rent district shooting water fowl on Johnson Lake in the back of my pickup truck. the PPD pulled up and asked me what i was doing. after a lengthy and heated discussion he proceeded to write me a ticket claiming i had no auto insurance. he told me i could not photograph in the area so in defiance i took this shot. i then explicitly stated my true feelings about his actions and getting a ticket for nothing. the situation got so heated that they sent backup. when the senior officers arrived they inquired why i was so pissed off. upon explaining my photographer's rights and getting a ticket for being in the rich folks hood they agreed that i had the right to photograph in the area and had violated no law. they made the subject of this image tear up the ticket and apologize for his actions.
i have violated the rules. this image was taken a couple of years ago and is not eligible. sorry for my ignorance of the rules.
