for low-end albums you can add: www.mpix.com
very customizable and easy to use - it's 10 times better than shutterfly. I've done about 10 books that way... cost coming in at about $43 with shipping and it's decent quality and easy to throw into a lower end wedding package.

Yeah, they've worked hard on their newer press printed books. I would never call it an album though. I'm working on rewording things and I'm about to take a trip to Wyomign for a wedding and to visit family. My brother and sister in law, are good at design, etc and I'l going to show them a few ideas.
i suppose it is fair to draw the deliniation. www.mpix.com is more of a "book" than an "album" - I'd agree with that ... but not a bad "low end" resource to make your list. great list by the way it's very much appreciated. I specifically like the album information. thanks Tim !
Awesome list. I've been in photography for awhile and all of this is useful. I will deffinately be combing through this list and using some of it!
I know that I've used smug mug in the past for online galleries, but am finally developing my own shopping cart and will be getting rid of the middle man. I can say that Smug Mug was big help getting started. They provided a website, galleries, and ability to sell the images. All with limited knowledge. Our business has been moving off of them for some time, but its a slow migration.
