p.1 #1 · is this better???

I think that I may have posted this last summer, but I'm not sure. Nonetheless, I have revisited this image and reworked it a little, including a new crop format.

Please give me your comments as to these changes, in particular, temperature, and your suggestions as to what else I might do (or undo).

Thanks

Alan,

Yes. IMO, much - more pop and saturation tweak give it more depth!

But somehow I want to see more of a pano and a little less water at the bottom:

If you mind my posting this please let me know and I'll take it down....

Yes, I like the crop and color better on the new one. FWIW.

Yup. Like your re-work. The crop works effectively, the image appears warmer. BTW, I like the frame you placed around it as well.

Yes. Bravo. Much more pop and impact. Think your new crop is just right also. And I too like the frame...

Always good to revisit and rework old photos, if only to gauge the progress one (hopefully) makes in the digital darkroom...

Nice picture that is worth working on.

I agree with Bob - less water on the bottom is better for me - I also think getting rid of the prominent rock on the left and a bit more trees. Here is my crop try. I will remove if you don't want it posted.

Yes! Nice improvement. And, FWIW, I think your improved version is the best one here. Of Course, cropping is always a matter of taste and I usually would prefer less of the water in the foreground but this one is an exception for me.
