I presume this is a marmot? Great shot of what is often a difficult critter to capture. I have a few photos of these, but getting something we can call 'eye candy' other than just rock and marmot is very tough to do. They like to stay close to cover.

Didn't use flash..I was watching some bears on the side of a hill and noticed the little guy. I'm told he/she is a Yellow Bellied Marmot...I can't confirm or deny that but I enjoy the little guys as much as the big ones..
