I will be traveling to Israel soon. Any recommendations photo wise? As far as gear goes I have a zoom, wide angle, and a general all purpose standard lens. I'm thinking about just bringing the standard lens to avoid having to carry a lot of gear. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.
I was just about ready to post something along the lines of this thread as my church is going to be traveling to Israel in April. I'm hoping to take lots of pictures, but an concerned of what the protocols are of shooting pictures in the shrines and in the city of Jerusalem in general.
It's a wonderful place for photography, so much to see and capture. There are a few areas where shooting is restricted but not many from what I recall. The country is so rich in history and sites that it would be a wonderful photo opportunity.
