p.1 #1 · Inside Notre Dame

The very low light and no tripod allowed made this very challenging. I welcome C&C and thanks for looking :

I too like #3 - I think I might do some perspective correction on this one

Look at paul, correcting everyone's perspective

Nice shots, very dramatic!

For number 3) would it be better if I crop off the top and make it a landscape format instead?

I think this is one of those cases where perspective correction spoils the image rather than enhances it. If you standing inside a tall building and looking up then you would expect to see converging lines, but eliminating that effect sems too unnatural and diminishes the dwarfing effect that the architect no doubt intended.

Love the images. On the first one though, I would have either cropped off less or taken a little wider. The ceiling leads the eye to the bottom of the page but there is nothing there to focus it.The first thing I did when I looked at it from was wander down until I got to the end.

For example, I love the second image. You have the nice parallel lines in the windows, but they converge to a point at the end. It gives the eye a stopping place. The bright yellow thing in the foreground is kind of distracting, but not sure if you could have done anything about that.

I like the DOF and angle in #3. Focus almost feels a little soft on the statue though.

In #4, again the focus on the statue is very soft. It might have worked a little better focusing on it, or getting a wide enough DOF to get it in focus.

Very nice images!

They are all very well done - re cropping #3 - perhaps just at the angle on the upper rh side?

I see some were shot at ISO 1600 - what type of NR did you do, if any?
