Still trying out the 300 f4 on flyers. I wish I would have had the 1.4 for this shot . Cropped more than I would like. I've never been able to get a very good shot of these guys.C&C welcome!
Pretty good one! That fish looks beat up though, was he already dining and then decided to change spots? It just doesn't look like a fresh-from-the-water grab. The profile of the bird's head is nice. Too bad he wasn't just a little closer to you. Where'd you take this one anyhow?
Thanks Rob . It was an old catch for sure. The head and most of the fornt of the fish were gone. And I had to crop more than I wanted to . I wonder if a 1.4 tele extender would have helped?. I didn't see him take off , he just flew by. This was taken in Montgomery Texas (lake Conroe). Thanks for looking.
