Ray, the state of education in the "Swamp" metro is deplorable!!!!! Virginia elected a new Governor on his promise to get education back on track! I see school kids in my neighborhood running the streets when they should be in school! What the heck is going on? Well that was a rhetorical question to which I have an answer that people won't like.
I wish success to your daughter and her husband. The USofA is sliding down the World educational scale rapidly!

Dan, schools have reported that many students have not returned to school post pandemic. We asked our daughter and her husband about their schools and they agreed many did not return. The son-in-law said they had over 100 kids who did not return and they don't know where they went. He has about 2300 students in his high school.

Went to see the Blue Angels again at the Naval Academy in Annapolis this afternoon. It was very cloudy, the smoke the jets made was lingering on for a long time, the "dehaze" slider in Lightroom could do only so much without giving the pictures the weird looks.

Anyway, it was good to see the Academy open up to the general public again.

Not that bad Douglas. This was San Antonio/Randolf AFB...no wind and a lot of smoke...

These are great Douglas!
As you say, the conditions weren’t the best but no excuses needed for these!
Love your Fat Albert shots too - I need much more practice for good prop disks.
