The Cardinal is spectacular. I await my first bluejay shot. I just can't get close enough.

Thanks Ted, I hope you get your Bluejay soon. You're doing a fine job on all your other subjects so when you get the opportunity I'm sure you'll nail it.

That Chickadee was battling some fierce wind. 40mph + that day. Poor little guy could barely hang on. Thanks for the nice comment about the gull shot too.

Thank you. Glad you like the gull. That was taken behind the Burger King and someone had just thrown out part of their breakfast sandwich which brought the gulls close-in. - true story.

Thanks Steve. I appreciate the compliment on the Cardinal and I'm really liking lower light shots of some of my backyard birds. I'm glad you liked the effect on the finch. When the morning light comes in like that it is almost like a studio lighting situation that I really enjoy.
This is a fine set Mark and the cardinal and finch look great and Ted as for your BJ try getting some cracked corn and feed on the ground near cover. At least you should get some turkeys
