Looking at the epson 3800 printer, i noticed there is a standard, portrait edition, and professional edition. what are the differences in these?

It's pretty well laid out at Epson's website.

Standard = No RIP or Workflow Software
Professional = Standard + Colorburst RIP
Portrait = Standard + ExpressDigital Workflow Software Customized for Epson

There is not a version that includes both the Colorburst RIP and ExpressDigital Software
